About Me

My photo
I decided to start a blog to share my crafting habits with the world. Almost everything that I post will be hand-made by me. Some projects may have some inspirational help from others designers, scrappers, artists, etc. I believe in sharing my creativity to help inspire others as I have been inspired by so many others.

My Son and Daughter's work of art!

Being a proud new Nana, I had to share this latest work of art.

Mason @ 1 month old.

Photo Box Storage

Photo box that I made as part of my most recent weekly Build A Project (BAP) with Creative Kuts.

Front view - Approximately 8" wide by 5" and 4" deep. Made with chip board for durability along with some decorative patterned paper. The Roses were pre-made by Petaloo. I made the chip board "LAUGH" using pieces of pattern patter from the "Heirloom" paper stack by DCWV. Actually all of the paper used including the background pic is from the same collection.
Side view of the box. As you can see, it has accordian style sides. Dividers were added after this pic was taken. They are adhered to the accordian sides to add to the internal sturdiness and to hold the accordian sides in place.

Snowcap Gift Card Holder

Another Weekly build a project that I made with Creative Kuts. It's a cute little gift card holder. The pom=pom is several layers of tissue paper that was folded, cut, crinkled and glued. The gift card will fit in the brim of the cap by the tag.

This was part of a weekly build a project group that I joined with Creative Kuts Check them out on Facebook @ http://www.facebook.com/pages/Creative-Kuts/130937843644274 and on the web @ www.creativekuts.com

Christmas Slider Card

A little slider / waterfall card. As you pull the ribbon at the bottom, the letters flip up to spell "NOEL".

All Occasion Card Swap

Here are some cards for a swap that I'm in over at minialbumscraps.ning. Objective was to make 3 sets of 2 all occasion cards for a total of 6 cards. Each card needs at least 4 embellishments. Hopefully whoever gets my cards will enjoy them as much as I did making them.

You're a hoot card was a combination of quite a few paper punched papers, a cricut cutout of a tree limb, The letters were also cutout with my cricut and then I went over them with puffy paint. Card is 6 x 6.
You're on my mind! This card is 5.5 x 4.25. Image was masked, sponged and stamped. Ribbon added to the the front of the card.I may ad a few sparkles on some of the flowers but I really like the simplicity of this tone on tone card.
Hi - This is made from multiple layers of card stock and patterned paper with paper punches and diecuts. Again, another card that has a lot of dimension but doesn't overdo it. This may get a section of ribbon added with a little charm to dangle from it. Just have to make the charms.

As you can see...They are almost ready to go out the door.

Grunge Tag Swap

Here are a few pics of some tags that I made for a 5 +1 swap over at minialbumscraps.ning.

I've used grunge paper, alcohol inks, stamps, metal trinkets, paper punches, inking and so on.

Handbag Giftcard Holder

Bag was a quick cut with my Cricut.
Add a little paper flower and it's a perfect holder for a giftcard.
The sides can be pinched in pinched in once the giftcard is inside.
Notice the slight indents on the top view picture.

Thanks a Bunch
